What will your day job look like?

As a Finance Manager, you will be working in financial control and reporting and be held accountable for the day-to-day finance operations of the business. You will be confident and accurate in reporting financial results to the VP of Finance and Operational Board. 

You will have end-to-end responsibility for the Purchase and Sales ledger processing and accuracy and weekly cashflow analysis.  You will complete all month-end tasks to prepare the management accounts to trial balance and provide information for the VP of Finance and the Operational Board reports including reconciliations, journals, and forecast updates.  The role involves variance analysis against budget and forecast and working with the account management team to effectively forecast our client accounts.  There is an element of commercial input to upcoming bids and tenders and how we achieve our balance scorecard measures

Qualifications/Experience:

Essential 

  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA/similar 
  • Experience creating Finance MI and financial analysis – ability to deliver finance reports to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience of creating and managing forecast 
  • Experience of creating and managing budgets
  • Experience of managing and reporting on day to day cashflow
  • Ability to extrapolate and scenario plan with information available
  • Attention to details and can work to deadlines
  • A self-starter who can prioritise their workload

Desirable 

  • Good with people for stakeholder management and general collaboration
  • Worked in a consultancy based industry
  • Some understanding of IR35
  • Experience using Xero
  • Line Management and training experience
