The Non-functional Test Manager role is responsible for assuring products meet all non-functional requirements including, but not limited to performance, scalability, usability and operability. This is a multi-faceted technical role. The Non-functional Test Manager will work collaboratively with clients to define, develop and deliver the non-functional aspects of the Test Strategy with a focus on delivery.

The main accountabilities
- Creating or contributing to the creation of the Non-functional Test Strategy
- Delivering to agreed time, cost and quality standards
- Creating time and resource estimates
- Creating or overseeing the production of quality non-functional test artefacts
- Provide detailed status reports and MI tracking progress and logging and highlighting risks and issues
- Provide Test Completion reports (or equivalent) to Stakeholders
- Track progress of non-functional testing workstreams
- Work with stakeholders at all levels within the project and/or workstreams, and represent non-functional testing during project and/or workstream meetings
- Log and highlight risks and issues that may impact on the delivery schedule
- Provide information and input relating to non-functional testing into the Business signoff process
Knowledge, skills and experience
- 5– 7 years’ experience in a non-functional testing role
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation level certified
- In-depth knowledge of Non-functional test practices with a high level of experience defining and implementing performant software through the software development lifecycle
- Strong experience of evaluating and selecting non-functional test tools and technologies
- Experience of leading a team
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience of delivering across various methodologies – Agile, Waterfall
