2i has been recognised by Great Place To Work® UK as one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026.
The annual list celebrates organisations where women report having a consistently positive experience at work. Rankings are based on confidential employee feedback together with an assessment of workplace culture and people practices.
The recognition follows another successful year for 2i, having already achieved Great Place To Work® Certification for the fourth consecutive year, alongside being named one of the UK's Best Workplaces™ and UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ in 2026.
At 2i, we've never believed there is a single initiative that creates a great workplace. It's the everyday things that matter, supporting one another, providing opportunities to grow, encouraging different perspectives and making sure people feel they can be themselves.
This latest recognition reflects the experiences shared by our own people and reinforces our commitment to continuing to build a workplace where everyone can succeed.
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said:
"This year's UK's Best Workplaces for Women list celebrates businesses making a genuine difference day to day, not just in what they say, but in how people experience work. What matters most is that this recognition comes directly from women working in these organisations, who tell us they feel supported, valued, and able to grow.
Our research demonstrates that these organisations creating high-trust environments are delivering stronger results, whether in financial outcomes, impact, or service delivery, alongside greater agility and resilience in the face of change. Congratulations to 2i for creating an environment where inclusion is clearly felt in practice."
This recognition is another milestone in 2i's ongoing journey to build a workplace where talented people can do their best work, develop their careers and enjoy being part of the business.
Anna McMillan, VP Delivery at 2i, has been with the business for almost 11 years, progressing from Test Manager to a senior leadership role. Today, she leads 2i's delivery capability, helping to shape the services the company provides while supporting the development of its people and future talent. She is also a Trustee on the Board of Scottish Women in Technology (SWiT), where she works alongside industry leaders to promote gender diversity, inspire the next generation of women in technology and help create a more inclusive technology sector.
Sharing her perspective on the recognition, Anna said:
"I was delighted to hear that 2i has been recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Women™. 2i is a fantastic place for women to develop and grow their careers, and I've experienced this first-hand during my almost 11 years with the business. I joined as a Test Manager and am now VP Delivery, helping to shape our delivery capability so that others can develop and grow their own careers.
Our most recent cohort of Junior Quality Engineers was 50% female, reflecting our commitment to creating meaningful career opportunities for women in quality engineering. I also love seeing the passion of the women across our business as they give back to the wider community and technology industry, acting as role models for young people, particularly girls, and showing them the wide range of career opportunities available in tech. For me, this is exactly why 2i is one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Women™."
