What is the Tech Talent Charter?
For those unfamiliar with the Tech Talent Charter, it is an influential UK-based initiative designed to address gender imbalance and other diversity issues prevalent in the technology industry. By encouraging companies to work collectively, the TTC aims to drive real change and dismantle barriers that hinder underrepresented groups from thriving in the tech world.
2i and Diversity
By embracing the principles of the Tech Talent Charter, 2i recognises that a diverse workforce is not just about fulfilling quotas; it is a strategic advantage that fuels innovation and drives business success. 2i thrives with these diverse perspectives, experiences and backgrounds.
This year 2i was certified as a Great Place to Work UK® and following this it was announced that 2i has also been recognised as a Best Workplace for Women™ by Great Place to Work UK®. We take great pride in this award, which was supported with incredible responses from our employees. The employee responses showcased statistics that we are proud of, such as:
100% of our employees who took part in the survey agreed that they are treated fairly, regardless of their gender
100% of our employees agreed that they are treated fairly, regardless of their sexual orientation.
What next?
Whilst signing the Tech Talent Charter marks a significant milestone, 2i understands that building a diverse and inclusive workforce is an ongoing journey. We are committed to continuously reassessing our practices and policies, and our culture, to ensure we remain at the forefront of driving positive change within the tech industry.
