Job title: Sales Executive, Public Sector

We provide a combination of high-level consultancy services that identify software delivery risks for clients across different sectors and size. We implement the processes, tools and skills to deliver projects that focus on providing the client with certainty of delivery.

What will your day job look like?

  • Ensure deep understanding and qualification of client requirements to shape and respond to our clients’ needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to create sales proposals and close sales opportunities and provide a seamless and joined-up client experience.
  • Take a proactive and creative approach to achieve and exceed individual sales targets and team goals, actively identify risks and blockers to meeting those targets and put in place corrective actions where required.
  • Support new business generation initiatives and proactively support and collaborate with marketing team.
  • Build strong, strategic, and influential client relationships throughout all aspects of the solution sales cycle.
  • Provide accurate and clear weekly pipeline and forecast reports for management.
  • Maintain an in-depth and up to date knowledge and a high level of understanding of relevant technologies and related services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all key business sales targets/KPIs are met. 
  • Maintain high levels of sales activity/customer meetings.
  • Create innovative approaches to winning new business.
  • Ensure timely and consistent follow up on all the company’s marketing activity.
  • Attend relevant industry events and conferences.
  • Research potential target industries and customers.
  • Keeping up to date with our sector and our competitors

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Broad B2B sales experience gained in a similar sized IT Services organisation.
  • Previous success in a New Business sales role selling services & solutions.
  • Relevant industry experience (ideally in Public Sector).
  • Ability to engage and influence at CxO level.
  • Ambitious and committed to deliver results.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
