The Scottish Women in Tech (SWIT) Awards 2023! ceremony took place on Thursday, November 2nd, at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow, where 2i was shortlisted for three awards.
SWIT Awards gathered Scotland's most inspiring women in technology, creating an atmosphere of celebration and recognition for outstanding contributions to the tech industry. We were honoured to share the space with such talented individuals and organisations dedicated to advancing diversity and inclusion in the tech sector in Scotland.
The recognition did not stop with the SME Employer of the Year award. Carla, our senior engineer, received commendation as a Technology Rising Star, while Sam Blythe, our esteemed partner who co-founded Codespace at Edinburgh College with us, clinched the Tech Champion award for her remarkable work on Codespace.
Winning the SME Employer of the Year at the SWIT Awards is not just an accolade for 2i; it is a testament to our commitment to being a leader in fostering diversity, inclusion, and empowerment within the tech industry. As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to continuing our journey towards a more inclusive future for all.
